As for my baseball cap collection, I assure you it numbers about 10 total, so I am no threat to you at all!
I usually only wear them when I go for walks. I glow excessively (a ladylike way of indicating I sweat like a horse), and hats help keep my eyes from burning. I am nothing if not a practical gal! That said, I will model a few of my other favorites when I can remember. You may even like a few!!! :D
Cass, true Red Sox fans might wonder about your street cred. Not only are you not growing out a beard in support of your team, but you are actively having yours permanently removed!
Guess we'll just have to accept you at your word.
Congrats, girl! I was leaning toward the Tigers, but I can counted on to root for Boston against those loathsome Cardinals. Go Sox!
Hello Miss L! How wonderful to see your smiling face!
Indeed, my face is now follically-challenged. Therefore, I ceased shaving my armpits and legs back in April. I hope that will appease the Hardball Gods.
(Stock tip: the day after the Sox wrap up the Series, buy Norelco & Gillette. I shall say no more...) ;D
I too hope the Sox win, but I actually rather like the Cardinals.
Similarly, I hope Don Mattingly one day wins a World Series; he is a class act. He is one of my all-time favorite players (just don't tell my fellow New Englanders!).
However, I shed no tears for the likes of Carl (Crybaby) Crawford and A-Gon(e). They richly deserved to lose, simply to appease Mistress Karma for their misdeeds in Boston.
Well you look happy. And I've often wondered what that pair of red socks was all about. :D
ReplyDeleteHey watch it, your cap collection is getting as big as mine!
There is also a team called the White Sox - which does not, in fact, wear white socks. Seems like false advertising to me!
ReplyDeleteThe sole exception: one, awful, horrifying, retina-scarring three game series:

Yes, they really wore those!

(Aren't sports great that way? lol)
Don't be a stranger, hon! Miss you!
Hugs,
